CCcam setup for  Technomate 5402 HD and TM 5402 HD M3

  • The default password for access to all menu’s is “0000”
  • When using the memory stick for patching the receiver/Adding channel list insure it is formatted to fat 32 & only the Patch/Channel list file is on it, or it will not work.

Step 1: Inital cable connections & set up

  • Connect power lead into the back of the receiver.
  • Connect satellite cable into “LNB INPUT” in the back of the receiver.
  • Connect HDMI/Scart lead into the back of the receiver & other end to TV.
  • Connect Ethernet/LAN cable into “LAN” input on the back of the receiver.
  • Connect the IR receiver into “EXT IR” input on the back of the receiver. Locate the IR receiver somewhere on the front of the receiver where the remote control will have a clear line of vision to control the receiver.
  • Using the power toggle switch located at the back of the receiver on the left hand side turn from off to on position.

The receiver is now ready for configuration.

 

Step 2: Patching the receiver to allow the addition of cline

    • Download the required Patch file from our website & unzip

Technomate 5402 HD CCcam patch

  • Transfer the .stb file onto the USB key. Insure only the .stb file is on the USB key.
  • Insert the USB key into the front of the receiver. (Open door on the right hand side of the front of the receiver, the USB port is located here). “USB drive is inserted” if it is connected correctly.
  • Press menu button & choose “USB/External Device” option.
  • Use across arrow choose “USB Up/Down/File manager” & press “ok” button.
  • Using down arrow highlight “.stb” file & press “ok” button.
  • “Are you sure” window will be displayed, choose yes option & press “ok”.
  • “Don’t power off STB – Writing – successfully completed” will be displayed if the file has been successfully downloaded to the receiver.
  • Receiver will go through the reboot process.
  • When the receiver reboots a “Test screen” will be displayed.
  • Press the number 8 button & press down arrow & the receiver will reboot again.

 

Step 3: INITIAL RECEIVER CONFIGURATION AFTER FIRST BOOT UP (use « >> recall » & « usb » buttons on the remote to go to next menu or return to previous menu)

    • Language selection: Via the left and right arrows positioned in the centre of the remote control choose your desired language. No need to alter “changing backgrounds” option.  Use “>> recall” button to go to next menu.
    • A/V Output settings: In this menu set the A/V settings that are best suited to your individual requirements. Use “>> recall” button to go to next menu.
    • Time settings: set “GMT Usage” to off. Press down arrow to “CURRENT DATE” & press the “ok” button. Set the correct Year/Month/Date using “>> recall” & “<<usb” buttons & press “ok”. Press down arrow to “CURRENT TIME” & set the correct time with the numeric buttons.  Use “>> recall” button to go to next menu.
    • Satellite set up: Via the left and right arrows positioned in the centre of the remote control choose satellite “28.2E ASTRA2/EUROBIRD”.

 

 

At this stage initial set up is complete as we are going to load channel list via USB. Press “exit” button “Do you want to quit” window will be displayed,

use left arrow to choose “yes” & press “ok” button. “No channel” will be displayed.

 

Step 4: Loading channel list via USB

Download the required .cndf file from AJsat.co.uk. The required file can be found under « Technomate/Blade section. When using the memory stick for adding the channel list insure it is formatted to fat 32 & only the channel list is on it, or it will not work.

  • Transfer the .cndf file onto the USB key.
  • Insert the USB key into the front of the receiver. (Open door on the right hand side of the front of the receiver, the USB port is located here). “USB drive is inserted” if it is connected correctly.
  • Press menu button & choose “USB/External Device” option.
  • Use across arrow & choose “USB Up/Down/File manager” & press “ok” button.
  • Using down arrow highlight “.cndf” file & press “ok” button.(see pic below)
  • With “Normal DB” highlighted press “ok” button.(see pic below)
  • “Are you sure” window will be displayed, choose yes option & press “ok”.
  • “Don’t power off STB – Writing – successfully completed” will be displayed after a few seconds if the file has been successfully downloaded to the receiver.
  • Press “exit” button 3 times, channel list has now been loaded to receiver.
  • Press “ok” button & use up/down arrows to scroll through available channels.

Step 5: Loading a cline via USB

 

    • Transfer the Cccam.cfg file onto the USB key.
    • Insert the USB key into the front of the receiver. (Open door on the right hand side of the front of the receiver, the USB port is located here). “USB drive is inserted” if it is connected correctly.
    • Press menu button & choose “USB/External Device” option.
    • Use across arrow & choose “USB Up/Down/File manager” & press “ok” button.
    • Using down arrow highlight “Cccam.cfg” file & press “ok” button. (see pic below)
    • “Don’t power off STB – Writing – successfully completed” will be displayed after a few seconds if the file has been successfully downloaded to the receiver.
    • Press “exit” button 3 times, Cline has now been loaded to receiver & all channels should be open.
    • Press “ok” button & use up/down arrows to scroll through channels.
